Job description:
Lifeguards are responsible for safety of all guests as well as customer service. Basic Job Duties Include: -Proper ride dispatch at tops of slides -Scanning water for guest safety -Basic First Aid Care -Enforcing rules/restrictions -Customer service -General cleaning of park -Continuous training throughout summer Swim Requirements: -Swim 200 yards, continuously without stopping or standing -Retrieve 10 pound brick from 10 feet of water -Tread water without hands for 2 minutes *All training is onsite through Ellis and Associates training. No previous lifeguard experience is necessary. Additional Requirements: -Working long hours on feet in the sun -Ability to work in various weather conditions -One hour a week of paid training is mandatory. Lifeguards must constantly monitor guests in pools and ensure that guests follow the park rules. Lifeguards will be next to or in chlorinated water and will be in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Participants will be standing, sitting, and walking for long periods of time. As a lifeguard, participants must ensure a safe and healthy environment for the swimmers and they must be able to recognize and react properly in emergency situations.
Cabana Servers: -Cabana servers are responsible for greeting any guests that have rented a private cabana for the day. -Take food and drink orders from guests and bring them to the café to have order prepared -Deliver food and drink orders to guest -Check in on cabanas rented for the day multiple times to ensure guest satisfaction -Throughout the day they will take food orders, assemble and deliver the food as well as keep the cabana areas clean and stocked -Food preparation is required -High level of customer service required, friendly outgoing personality. -Excellent English levels required *This position is given their tips on a daily basis at the end of their shift*
Cash handling/financial transactions on registers -Preparing and serving food items -Outgoing friendly personality -Cleaning of all food and beverage work stations -Stocking food stands Participants working Cashier positions must have a high level of English and have an understanding of US currency as they will be on registers on a daily basis. Participants must be able to provide high levels of customer service. Participants must be able to work long hours on their feet.
Participants will be responsible for all aspects of food production in the kitchen. This could include helping include helping with deliveries, stocking, preparation, monitoring food production levels, and clean up. Participants will be using grills, fryers, ovens, and steamers. Participants will be standing for long periods of time in this position. Working conditions in the restaurant can be very demanding at times and fast paced during busy lunch hours. You will be expected to prepare food at a continuous pace using fryers, grills and ovens. When you are not preparing food you will be cleaning and stocking shelves. Certain aspects of being a cook require heavy lifting and strenuous work. Other responsibilities are washing dishes, cleaning floors, clean kitchen equipment, and all areas of the restaurant. Also taking part in food deliveries that will require you to go into freezers that have low temperatures and organize the food items.
