Job description:

As a housekeeper, participants are responsible for cleaning (washing, dusting and vacuuming, tidying) guest rooms and property common areas. Job duties include picking up after a guest, preparing fresh linens (doing laundry), making beds, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows (usually less frequently), cleaning the bathrooms, toilets, sinks and showers. Keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies. Housekeepers will be using cleaning chemicals. * Participants may receive tips for this position.

Breakfast Room Attendant Duties: •Set-up (if required) all areas of the breakfast room. •Maintain all areas of the breakfast area during breakfast hours. •Make sure trash is emptied as needed. •Clear tables and wipe tables as guests depart area. •Assist guests; help them as needed. •Take down and clean all areas of the breakfast area. •Empty all trash, sweep, mop, and vacuum. •Wash & dry dishes, glasses, mugs, and silverware as required. •Put away & stock supplies as needed. Review food orders and date supplies as needed. •Make sure enough food is thawing for the next day. •Let direct supervisor know if it is necessary to order any items. •Complete cleaning projects for that day. •Make sure breakfast area & food are meeting all State & Federal Health Codes. •Take temperatures of all food going out to the line and record on the temperature log. Make sure all food is within state required guidelines. As a house person, participants will have the the responsibility of keeping the general appearance of the facility in clean, functional working order. This includes being accessible to customers and greeting and responding to guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Duties include ensuring that keys, property telephones and guest appliances are in working order and taking care of other maintenance related issues. The house person also keeps the lobby, hallways and restrooms clean (including cleaning toilets), assists in setting up rooms for events and checks and restocks cleaning and general supplies. A house person will using cleaning chemicals. * Participants may receive tips for these position.

A Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining all public restroom and public areas of the hotel in keeping with company’s high standards of quality. This individual have the ability to interact with guests in a courteous and friendly manner. This position will be multi faceted and include helping guests by bringing them extra amenities, helping your fellow room attendants, keeping the lobby and common areas clean, etc. As a house person, participants will have the the responsibility of keeping the general appearance of the facility in clean, functional working order. This includes being accessible to customers and greeting and responding to guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Duties include ensuring that keys, property telephones and guest appliances are in working order and taking care of other maintenance related issues.
