Job description:
Housekeepers are to work as a member of the cleaning team to assist in keeping the public areas neat and clean under the direct supervision of the Office Manager. A cleaning schedule will be provided for the things that need to be cleaned daily, weekly, and monthly. Essential functions and responsibilities include: able to work independently with minimal instruction, neatly clean and prepare rental units for new customers in a timely manner, neatly clean restrooms (including toilets) and disinfect, clean game-room, clean public laundry room, clean recreation building, keep cleaning areas stocked/organized/cleaned after each use, clean employee kitchen/restroom, clean office/registration area, provide friendly customer service in a professional manner. Participants will handle cleaning chemicals. In addition to the duties mentioned above, for those who are qualified, the following functions in may be available: lead and instruct activities in an organized safe environment, set up activities on time, etc. Participants may also be asked if they wish to conduct duties such as painting, clean up garbage, but are not required. Female participants are required because of the housing arrangements.
