Job description:
Participants will be working either as a Housekeeper or a Laundry Attendant. Job duties include: Cleaning rooms, bathrooms (including toilets), and hallways. Dusting, mopping, vacuuming. Restocking rooms with amenities. Washing and folding sheets and towels. As a runner, participants will be bringing sheets/towels/supplies to the hotel from the laundry room. Participants will be handling cleaning chemicals. No gender preference. English level: Excellent.
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible primarily for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet and for maintaining the breakfast dining area. Employees must have good communication and customer service skills, as this is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. Duties include some serving of guests e.g. pouring coffee, clearing of tables, cleaning of dining and buffet area and maintaining storage room and breakfast supply inventories. Employees may also be responsible for room service (taking breakfast to guests’ rooms).
The front desk clerk or assistant is responsible for greeting and monitoring visitors and for providing assistance to customers. Job duties include checking in and out guests, taking payment through cash and running credit card machine, recording reservations over the phone and online reservations; helping customers with questions, answering the phones and performing front desk related administrative tasks. Front desk employees must have excellent English, a clean and impeccable appearance and exceptional customer service skills.
