Job description:
Reporting Structure and Purpose of Position: Participants will report to the Kitchen Manager/Manager on Duty. Participants will complete all assigned prep work and set up cook’s station. Maintain product presentation, product quality and cook time standards. Prepare all menu items according to standard recipe, plate presentation and specifications. Essential Functions: 1. Prepares menu items according to standard recipes, plate presentation and specifications in a timely manner. 2. Completes all assigned prep work. 3. Sets up work station according to station diagram. 4. Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all time. 5. Cleans and sanitizes the work area before, during and after the shift. 6. Completes assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects. 7. Negotiates narrow crowded aisles with hot and cold food and beverages. 8. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Functions- Host: 1. Greets and seats the guests and accommodates any special needs; i.e. boosters, highchairs, disabilities. 2. Manages the waitlist when the restaurant is full. 3. Busses tables and provides guest assistance to servers. 4. Maintains a clean and organized work area. 5. Fills out the feature board and inflates balloons. 6. Maintains the overall cleanliness of the restroom on a routine basis. 7. Participates in rolling silverware. 8. Participates in the celebration songs. 9. Negotiates narrow crowded aisles with hot and cold foods and beverages. 10. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Mandatory Job Requirements: 1. Read, write and speak [Excellent] English. 2. Neat, well groomed appearance. 3. Average manual dexterity. 4. Pleasing personality and demeanor. 5. Able to work at rapid pace for an extended time period. 6. Must be able to work an agreed upon schedule. 7. Good memory skills in name recognition and personal eating preferences. 8. Walks, stands, bends, reaches and lifts on an ongoing basis.
